The Atelier has over 30 years experience dressing for brides all over the World. Every bride will have exclusive use of our beautifully appointed salon. We will explore with you your ideas and with passion, creativity and knowledge we will create your individual look and unique bridal style.
You may recognise the name of our sister salon, Opus Couture. Having been in business for 15 years Opus is held in high regard by designers and brides alike. We won the title of ‘Best Bridal Retailer in Scotland’ at the Vows awards in 2006 and 2010 and have been nominated in 10 consecutive years by our brides as well as receiving 6 platinum awards from designers as their top stockist in Britain. We are the current holders of the VOWS premier Industry Award for 2017 and show no signs of slowing down yet.
SHARON MCPHERSON
Meet
Sharon has been a driving force in the British bridal industry for over 30 years. After studying Textiles, Fashion and Embroidery in Belfast and Birmingham, she interned with Irish bridalwear designer Isobel Love.
Sharon has built many lasting friendships with brides, retailers, manufacturers and designers. As a Retail Bridalwear Association council member and judge of various national bridal awards she is deeply immersed in the bridal business, and it has become a huge part of who she is.

Opus Atelier has exclusively brought four new designers to Scotland, each with their own stunning inspiration and spirit. It may be the beautiful simplicity of a superbly cut pattern or the amazing complexity of exquisite beadwork and lace, but one thing is for sure each designer has their own distinct style. With the one to one individual attention and 30 years experience in the bridal industry from Opus Designer-in-Chief, Sharon Hamilton McPherson, our brides feel beautiful from the moment they step through our doors to their wedding day and beyond.
